About the Event:

The Parks and Recreation department invites you to Sunset Cinema, presented by Epic Plumbing. Join us at Independence Park for a showing of Inside Out 2, rated PG. Arrive early at 4 p.m. for a special meet and greet with Joy and Sadness, your favorite characters from Inside Out.

Be sure to sign up for the costume contest, which begins at 4:30 p.m. This is your chance to show off your creative costumes, with winners announced before the movie begins. Registration is required for the costume contest, so don’t forget to sign up!

At 5:30 p.m., join us for a community costume parade, sponsored by HEB, where everyone is invited to showcase their costumes as we celebrate the spirit of Halloween together. Then, get ready to settle in under the stars as Inside Out 2 lights up the big screen at 6 p.m.
What to Bring: Guests are recommended to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and you may bring your own snacks or enjoy the tasty treats from the food truck.

Rules: Glass is prohibited. Pets must be on a leash.
