Our 24th annual Winterfest event is set for Saturday, January 25, 2020. Winterfest is a one day event full of entertainment and activities which include but are not limited to 200,000 pounds of snow in the HEB Snow Zone, a petting zoo presented by VCA Westside Animal Hospital, interactive games and inflatables, mechanical rides, live entertainment, and more. Winterfest will open to children under 16 with disabilities and their families at 9 am (families up to 4 people) and for general public at 10 am

Tickets (wristbands) are priced at $10 and will be sold on-site during Winterfest. All rides, activities and inflatables require a wristband. Wristbands can also be purchased before the event online and at the Recreation Center & Natatorium.

Want a discounted wristband? Bring a canned good to the Recreation Center (4141 Bailey Road) to purchase Winterfest tickets in advance and you'll receive a $2 discount credited to a wristband purchased. 1 canned good = 1 discounted wristband. This offer is only valid on ticket purchases made in-person prior to January 22nd. Discounts are NOT available the day of the event. All canned goods will benefit the Pearland Neighborhood Center by restocking their pantry after the holidays.

General Parking for this event is free and located at Pearland High School, 3775 S. Main Street. From Pearland High School, proceed along pedestrian walkways (on either Oiler Driver or No Name Road from PHS Searcy Building) toward Pearland Parkway. Proceed north onto Pearland Parkway and enter through the main entrance at Independence Park. Accessible parking is located onsite at Independence Park, 3919 Liberty Drive. NOTE: Vehicles must enter the park from Liberty Drive. Access from John Lizer Road will not be possible due to the road's closure.

Accessible parking will only be provided to vehicles with handicap placards and will be available on a first-come first-served basis. Shuttles will not be provided. For the health and safety of all our guests and for the consideration of all pets, we ask that you please do not bring your pets (of course, service dogs in harness are welcome).
