During a standard meeting you will have the opportunity to participate in several roles:
Toastmaster (Host and meeting planner)
Speaker (Speeches prepared in advance)
Table Topics Master (Facilitator for Impromptu Speakers)
Table Topics Speaker (Gives a short Impromptu Response)
General Evaluator (Provides feedback for the overall meeting)
Speech Evaluator (Provides constructive feedback for speakers to improve)
Timer (Tracks and advises on time throughout the meeting)
Grammarian (Provides word of the day and tracks grammar for all participants)
We are a diverse, warm, friendly, and supportive club dedicated to supporting you in your communication and leadership goals. We meet at 7 pm - 8:30 pm every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month on Zoom (Physical Location around West Pearland TBA shortly). We look forward to having you join us. We will save you a virtual seat!

Q. What is the cost of membership?
A. Memberships are paid every six months. New members pay $20 one-time fee for training materials and initial dues are pro-rated to the start of the next renewal period. Our VP of Membership can discuss the cost of dues. Some employers cover the cost of Toastmasters dues as part of public speaking and leadership training.
Q. What is the Pathways learning experience?
A. Pathways is Toastmasters’ exciting, interactive, and flexible education program. It focuses on five core competencies: Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, Strategic Leadership, Management, and Confidence. With 11 paths to choose from (and more in development), you have the option to pick which skills you want to focus on.
Q. How old do you have to be to Join?
A. You must be at least 18 years old to join. If someone under the age of 18 is interested, please go to Toastmasters.com to find information on Gavel clubs.
