Pearland High School Prancer Colonel Kendall Frauenberger is among 25 All-State Dance Team members chosen by Texas Dance Educators Association to perform at the Black Tie and Boots Inaugural Ball in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 19.
Of 222 All-State Dance Team members, Frauenberger and only 24 other dancers received this prestigious invitation.
Performers will learn a piece of choreography which will be performed at several venues and times during the ball. Frauenberger will don her Prancers dance team uniform and a sash representing her hometown of Pearland.
“I am very proud to have Kendall represent the Prancers and Pearland ISD at this special event. She is not only an amazing dancer, but also an admirable leader both in and out of the classroom. It is an honor to see Kendall to receive this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will be truly memorable,†Libby Koepke, Prancer director, said.
Frauenberger is the first Pearland Prancer to represent PHS at a presidential inauguration ball.
While in Washington, D.C., All-State members will visit the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, Arlington National Cemetery and other historical landmarks.
Congrats Kendall!
