There is a woman going around multiple Facebook groups asking people for money. She has now started messaging people through Facebook Messenger in Pearland community groups as well.
Do NOT send her any money. She is using fake profiles and telling people she will "pay them back," but several people believe this is a scam.
Before sending money to anyone online, always check their profile carefully and watch for red flags such as:
Newly created profiles
Very few real friends or photos
Copy-and-paste stories
Asking multiple people for money
Please block and report any suspicious accounts, and contact local authorities if needed.
Stay safe and protect yourself from scammers.

@Jellybean: I saw that on Facebook, I ran across a couple of her begging requests. I don't judge people, because times are hard and I know what it's like to have been in need. But it was just something about her posts. Thank God for discernment, I probably would have helped or given some advice.

@Jellybean:
I appreciate you sharing this. It's really discouraging how often scams occur, as they can make people wary of assisting those who are actually struggling.
