My husband and I were thinking about buying this pergola kit from Sams club. Will need somebody to put it together for us along with two cement pads for the back post, we have a narrow patio that will support the front post. Does anybody know who could do this for us and around what the cost would be?

@TerryCorthell : We just had a drive replaced and my husband had some of the most polite guys come and do it. If you want to PM Me...I will find out the number for you...these guys were not paid until job was finished .

That is some of the softest cedar I've ever looked at. I tested it out, and I'm no expert but it was something that concerned me when my mother thought about buying it too. (this was last years display I'm speaking of) If you do buy it, weather proof the heck out of it because it doesn't seem like it will last too long, however this one may be different.

What's the point, in Pearland? It doesn't appear to be screened in to keep mosquitoes away.

Yes netting or citronella plants in ground or those bug zappers? for mosquito control. Would be beautiful in my backyard let me see finished pic please.
