@AngelaJooooones : Unless the officer has really made a huge mistake, just follow the rules. Defensive driving is not a huge cost, and as Drew said, it can keep the ticket from causing you problems down the road. I know it can be a pain, but I follow the speed limits, If I am in the middle of rush hour, I may go with the flow of traffic, because that seems safer. I now have a Garmin that sits on the dash. My husband had that thing set to go off if I went too fast, alarm if I was too close to another car, let me know of every speed change, school zone, hospital, well, you get the idea. I explained that this is Houston. If it is going to go off every time I get closer than 30 feet to what is in front of me, it will stay on. If it alarms when I change speed, or go too fast, it will be sounding two, possibly 3 alarms at all times. Bottom line, shut off that noise, it is distracting me. I kept the map and ability to find things, and the front camera. It can watch my speed and show it in red, but if that thing did not quit yelling at me, I would take it out and run over it. A human back seat driver is bad enough, I won't have an electronic one.
