She looks like a sweet heart. Ramps are good, with my little ones I just always picked them up. Big ones are better than me getting in and out! I like the kitchen.

We have had ACL surgery 4 time on the dogs. One Yorkie blew both knees, Lab and mutt have each blown one. I was afraid the mutt had messed up her surgery a couple of weeks ago. I took her to the vet that did her surgery, they would not let me go in, and she was so scared they really couldn't tell what was going on. Anti-inflamitory for a couple of weeks, and she is getting better. Only problem, she was so upset we are back to housebreaking 101. I would keep her on leash and hooked to my wrist all the time, but she is so strong she pulls me down now. Most of my time is spent following her and asking if she needs to potty. I hope her memory kicks back in soon.

@susieq : My dogs were about 12 when I moved them off my 300+ spread to downtown Houston and put them on a leash for the first time. They also, between them, outweighed me by about 30 pounds. The first time they saw a squirrel they dropped my to my knees. It happened a few times again, but I got smarter about a short lease.Doggies are like people, they need to adjust to new surroundings. Glad to see your baby is. That, and Peanut realizes the changes.

Heidi is about 60 and Daisy is 67, on the small side for a lab. Heidi is much stronger. Chloe is wonderful on a leash, the other two are wild. My husband thought it was, "cute" to run with Daisy on her leash. Not so cute now. He takes them to the retention pond and lets them run.
