1 Firework has to get the axe. Please choose one to let go. I would let go of bottle rockets because they can cause serious eye injuries, as a study of emergency room visits shows. Be safe everyone if you plan on lighting fireworks or even sparklers.

From infants to adults, over the years Pearland residents have been hurt by fireworks. KNOW the risks and have FUN!!!

@Knk : Hard to pick. I like them all. As long as I can watch fireworks ðŸ’¥ from a distance . One year one of the neighbors playing with them set afire my Pampa grass. pFD took a while and lots of water ðŸ’¦ to have the blaze out.

Bottle Rockets have to go. I think they are the most dangerous of those listed.

@MartiMo : You can pull them apart and light singly, or let the whole pack go at once.
As a kid sparklers were my favorite. So pretty.

Our dad lit a sleeve of those suckers off in the den one Christmas Eve. Lord you should have seen the old blue haired aunt's jumping for cover. He generally hated them and there were distance rules he put in place for our popping. It was one of his "festive" Christmas Eves.

Oh and I didn't pick. I'd say a sparkler. Pretty but I've seen many a kid step on one myself included and what a burn that is.

@Magnolia832 : Black cat is just the little popper firework. Looks like a tiny stick of dynamite and they tend to come with 100 of them strung together. You can peel them apart and pop them one at a time, or just light the string and let em rip.
