Thank you. Yes, we have been seeing some minor signs of dementia. If she can't see me, she cries till she finds me. If I am gone, she will "settle" for my husband, but when I am here, she is close. She was at the vets a couple of weeks ago, and we agreed it was just too much for her,(and me) to medicate her a couple of times a day. I have vet bills, and have had more than one vet tell me if there is reincarnation, they, "would be happy to come back as one of my pets, because of the care they get." It is so hard when we have to make the choice to end a pet's life, but sometimes they really have no life and we do not want them to suffer. There is a very fine line, and it is a major responsibility. I will do what is best for her, always.
