Again, I just love your posts. I wish I had space to plant a butterfly garden. I'm currently growing more parsley than I can use, just hoping some swallowtails find it.

@Blackbird : Well my happy day was ruined this evening when I went out to my butterfly 🦋 garden at home. There was a medium size caterpillar on the milkweed and I was looking to see if there were more and a wasp flew down on it and killed it😭. It was horrible and it happened so fast. I went in garage and got my critter box and collected 4 caterpillars and moved them to the habitat I have in my back yard. I was keeping milkweed plants in that habitat to keep monarchs off of it from laying eggs so I could replace the pot at the community habitat. So much for that cause the little guys are munching down on it now. Ha ha. I'll just have to start another pot and keep it on the screen porch where the monarchs cannot get to it.

Ugn, so horrid, I'm sorry. How horrible. I'm usually sort of prey/predator equally , but it's hard to pick a wasp over a caterpillar.
