Wonderful Elise!! You did a great job on the masks. They fit well and have great pleats.
I helped with the sewing of quilts when my granddaughter was attending Sablatura. Learning to sew is a life-long adventure.

@Ks366 : Yes, she did a fantastic job. What a smart 5th grader. I couldn't even make them that nice. That's great you and your granddaughter sewed quilts together. How fun. I haven't sewn in a very long time. I would need to refresher.

@Knk : You should dust off that sewing machine and have some fun with it! Sab 5th graders all make a quilt in the spring. My granddaughter's group two boys in it. Sometimes it was a challenge to get the boys to keep their minds on the task at hand. LOL. But it was a wonderful experience. I image the kids this year didn't get to do it because of the virus. Really sad if they didn't get to do it because the kids really looked forward to it.

@Ks366 : Yes, I think you're right. Good advice. I don't own a sewing machine so I would have to go out and shop for a new one. Any recommendations on what brand to get?

Yes, I bet it was a challenge. How fun. I'm happy you had a good experience. Yes, I'm sure the coronavirus put a damper on their plans this year. 😢

@Knk : Brother machines are the most user friendly and have a lot of good machines. Hope you find one.
