Former Mayor Kevin Cole Invites Mayor Wiltz to Talk Council Rules

After listening to this week's Pearland City Council Special Meeting, Former Mayor Kevin Cole has publicly invited Mayor Quentin Wiltz to join him on the Talk of the Town Podcast via Facebook post.

Cole says his goal is to have an open, professional, and respectful conversation. He stated that he wants to give Mayor Wiltz the chance to explain his position, his reasoning, and his perspective directly to the people of Pearland. Many residents have questions about these changes and hearing from the Mayor directly may help provide answers.

Cole believes open dialogue and transparency are important, especially when changes affect how the city government operates. The invitation to Mayor Wiltz remains open.

proudpearlander: If he accepts the invitation it should be interesting. I try any stay out of these issues. There was a whole discussion on Facebook about this. I couldn't resist throwing my two cents in. This mayoral election has caused division and resentment in the Pearland community and it's uncalled for.

NannyB : Well a new broom sweeps clean.
Unfortunately people don't like change.
I'm open to listen to both and see what's going on, but if it's just a political issue with no substance. shame on all of them .

comments: Are you also inviting those council members onto your podcast to discuss their reasoning for wanting to change the rules in the charter?
