The German Store Opens Feb. 25 Dixie Farm Rd.

The German Store is slated to open Feb. 25, 2023, in the Pearland Corners Shopping Center.

The name speaks for itself: German Store sells German groceries. The plan is to initially have 300 to 400 items and increase that to about 800, depending on demand, the owner says.

I hope they have a nice selection of German beers

Looking forward to the German Store that is coming to Pearland. People from Houston will come to purchase items and do some of our local shopping.

I wish it was a cafe too!I saw the sign and thought it was open. I love German food. However I wish there was a Polish cafe and grocery near here too. There was one near by but when I called it was closed...I love the British Shop in Friendswood. I buy everything I love from chocolate to pasties and soap to curd and jams.

@Patty18 : I agree. Back in Maryland we had a really good German restaurant. When we go back to visit we sometimes go there.

When we lived in Myrtle Beach SC they had a ramshackle German Restaurant but the food was SOOOO GOOD!
I just love international flair once in awhile.

@Jammy : So far the owner hasn't listed what items will be available. I'll watch for it.

Pearland did have a fun place, though it closed in 2020. I went with friends, it was a blast. ðŸ»
It was King's Biergarten & Restaurant, on east Broadway.
German & Austrian beer-hall cuisine served in atmospheric digs with live music on weekends.

They have 2 other locations -ðŸº League City, www.kingsbierhaus.co m/

Houston, on Gessner has a German food store & Restaurant that looks interesting with great specials. ðŸ‡©ðŸ‡ª

@damascus1986 : Tons of it, they're known for it. Although I couldn't tell you which were German and which were Polish, to be honest. Kielbasa is my fav, and I'm fairly certain it's Polish, since I grew up near Hamtramck. Knockwurst, Weissurt, ...
