Did you go to these growing up?

I sure did! We went to the drive-in on Telephone road when I was growing up. Pearwood Skating Rink opened when I was in jr high so I went there for a few years.

to Pearwood Roller Skating rink and Galleria ice skating.
Did you go to the bowling center where Aldi now sits?

Sure did. As young teenagers some of us would get in the trunk and get in the drive in free. We were so bad bt it was fun.

@Megyn1: We would hide in the back of truck in the camper. The cab was already full. They never looked in the camper.lol

The bowling alley wasn't there when I was growing up (Gibson's Pharmacy was in that location) but I did go there as an adult. We had my daughter's birthday party there one year.

Not too athletic,but I did go bowling a few times. Loved roller skating in the neighborhood,and definitely went to drive - ins…..no action was required except to eat popcorn and watch a good show! Obviously,that was pre-teen years with family! Still fun!

I remember sneaking in a couple people in the truck once as teenagers. I wish we still had a drive in around here. Those were the days.

@NannyB: yep, the old bowling alley where aldi is and there used to be a little snowcone place under the tree, pearwood skate rink

@NannyB Since we moved here from another state .. I went to
bowling and skating rink and the drive in where we lived
growing up !!! Those were fun activities for all of us....
