On Monday April 29, 2019 the City of Pearland Streets Division will begin road maintenance and pavement repairs on Hughes Ranch Road, from Cullen Parkway to Stone Road. This is a full closure for through traffic during day light hours only. Local traffic for resident to access their properties is allowed. The work is planned daily, is expected to be complete within 2 weeks.The City's street network requires regular maintenance and this project has been identified as a critical area for repairs, due to the function of the road for carrying local traffic. Flag men will be present.This is a FULL CLOSURE TO THROUGH TRAFFIC. Detour signs will be in place as follows:West Bound Detour:From Hughes Ranch Rd at Stone Rd, Detour North on Stone Rd; turn west on McHard Rd, South Cullen Parkway to Hughes Ranch Rd.Eastbound Detour:From Hughes Ranch Rd, turn north on Cullen Parkway, ,East to McHard Rd, South on Stone Rd and east on Hughes Ranch Rd(see map).Project activities are weather dependent and subject to change. Drivers should be aware of heavy equipment and construction personnel in the vicinity of the worksite, and be prepared for delays resulting from the construction work. This work however, should not interfere with access to any surrounding properties or businesses.
