I know that in the grand scheme of things, it isn't much, but I just delivered a bit of food and supplies to our local animal shelter. While so many people were affected by the flooding, we can't forget our community pets and extended fur family members that may have also been displaced. Pearland Animal Shelter made plans to relocate their 'adoptable' pets to other area shelters prior to the flooding. Luckily, the shelter did not take on water and has been able to receive displaced pets to care for until their owners can be reunited with them. They are currently taking donations of all types including quality dog and cat food, towels and small blankets, clumpable cat litter, crates of all sizes and of course, you can always make a monetary donation. If you live in the immediate area and can help, please do so. Anything you donate will be much appreciated. Thank you!
