Oh! No glass anymore? Waste Management took glass didn't they?edited to add: That's got to be a mistake. Just checked my info from Frontier and it says they DO take glass bottles and jars (clear, green, and amber)

"WM started collecting carts last week. They are following the customer's WM recycle day. There are some customers that will have a recycle day change. So they need to be sure they place Frontier recycling carts out on their new Frontier Recycle day to be serviced and the WM cart out on the old WM recycle day to be picked up. Customer should leave cart out on recycle day and on next day. As Follows:
**After Oct 1 the WM cart will no longer be serviced, so the cart should be empty when placed on the curb."

It wouldn't make much sense if they didn't.

@Txtoast : Thanks for the information. However my husband was told by the city to leave the cart outside by the curb and it was going to be pick up by Monday at the latest. Will see. Hopefully they will 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Yes.. I reread the list of do's and don'ts and finally saw that YES we can throw in glass jars,,
I can just imagine a new collection of glass jars that we can't throw away... when they make these lists
it makes me wonder if the writers read over them before printing ..

In one place it says glass is ok and on that flyer it says no glass. Anyone know the correct thing - they should take glass I believe.

@Dorothy : yes, Frontier states they will take glass bottles and jars.
Frontier says they will 'not' take glass 'cookware', plate glass or window glass.
For those unacceptable items - I take them to Stella Roberts recycling center on Magnolia Pkwy.

@Dorothy : Yes, I agree. I would place glass bottles in the recycle bin and let Frontier deal with it.
They work with Stella Roberts recycle center so I figure that's where the glass ends up anyway.

I do not see any mention of when they will pick up limbs . Did I miss it ?

@dot2101 : Frontier Waste picks up trash and recycle bins. They do not pick up tree limb debris.
There is a different service that may do that, I can look for it.
