I got this at Pack's Tavern in Asheville, NC earlier this week. It ended up being three meals. Do any of you know if there is a restaurant in the Pearland area the has something similar. It was incredibly tasty.

I had a sandwich like this at The Box Bakery and Kitchen in Pearland. It was a special that day, not sure if it is offered all the time. It was brisket with Macaroni & Cheese. It was VERY Good.

@Drew : Such a simple combination, but I checked all the good bbq places around here and they don't have it. They have bbq, they have Mac n cheese, but they don't put them together as one entree. Maybe make a suggestion to the managers and ask them to call it The Drew. You could be a local legend😋

I'm going to completely honest here. Many years ago we had a passing in the family and the church did bbq and all the trimmings for us.
We had some wonderful friends and they sent a brisket already cooked that came from Sam's I think.
I'm thinking O Lord they're coming to the funeral and then the food afterwards. I'll have to put some of it out. That was about 25 years ago & I still buy Sadlers Smoked Brisket. It's smoked and perfectly sliced. If they're too big they freeze great. I do alot of cooking inside & outside but brisket is not something I do. It's so popular that it's not in stock in the stores due to the holiday.

Honestly, brisket is ok, but I love ribs so much I never waste time on it (or room) when eating out. Since I now live alone, I don't make it either, way too much food!

@Stealth83 : I don't care for it. I don't know how anyone eats chopped brisket, it just seems like a bunch of fat. I am much more likely to smoke pork tenderloin or boneless pork loin. Less fat, and it cooks faster. Ribs are also a lot of money for the amount of lean meat to fat/bone ratio.
