Musicmaker OK ... I will try this again...You asked for it ... as i said before I tried it
and it took me 3 hours to prepare it ...The dry ingredients took the longest .. do these first ... I think i bought the larger box of graham crackers .. this calls for 1/2 pound / 30 crackers and you will notice the size when you roll them... ... rolled fine ...add 3 tbsp sugar ( I added 5 tbsp) and 2 tbsp flour. at least a tbsp on cinnamon for the flavor ... mix the dry ingredients with one stick of soft butter and press most of it into your oblong casserole dish ... Save some tp sprinkle on top before baking ... Filling :
separate 4 eggs...beat the yolks with 1/2 cup sugar and juice of 1/2 good sized lemon..
until smooth ... add I package cream cheese ( 8 ounces ) One pound smaller cottage cheese and one 15 ounce can of condensed milk and 1/2 cup milk and two heaping tbsp, flour ... add to egg mixture ... mix well with mixer and set aside .. Now beat egg whites till stiff and fold them into beaten egg mixture... Pour all into oblong casserole dish ,,, sprinkle with excess graham cracker crumbles ..Bake one hour at 325 degrees '... turn off heat and leave in oven (door open) at least 30 minutes .. take out then and cool more
