The City of Pearland will kick-off the holiday season with the annual Hometown Christmas Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 6th at Independence Park. The event begins at 7 p.m. and includes activities, great food vendors, strolling entertainment, live music, snow and a visit from Santa as we light the City's Christmas tree.Guests should bring their lawn chairs and picnic blankets to relax and enjoy an outdoor movie on the park lawn beginning at 8:45 PM.Event parking is located at Pearland HS (3775 S.
