Pearland Detectives identified suspect and Pearland Police department made the arrestOn July 1st, 2021, Omar Johnson was taken into custody for the incident that occurred June 16th, 2021, in the area of Morgan Road and Magnolia Parkway (Pearland, Texas). On June 16th, Pearland Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the reportee who informed officers that she was walking her dog when an unknown male knocked her to the ground and then covered her mouth. The reportee was able to call 911 and get free from the suspect. The suspect was described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties about 5’10 in height and weighing 250 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts carrying, an unknown color backpack.Through the course of the investigation, Pearland Detectives were able to identify Mr. Johnson as a suspect. Mr. Johnson was arrested charged with charged with Unlawful Restraint, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
