Pearland Police Department News ReleasePearland, Texas – On Friday, November 10, 2023 at approximately 11:33 A.M., Pearland Police Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 12300 Block of Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, Brazoria County, Texas, 77584 in reference to a Gunshot Wound. Upon arrival a deceased six-year-old child was located at the residence. At this time, the child’s father identified as Da Leon Jarun Fontennet (B/M 2/13/1996) is in custody and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon (F3). There have been no charges related directly to the child’s death. This is an active investigation by the Pearland Police Department Criminal Investigations Division.
