Pearland Parkway Traffic Circle Closure May 27th.

Pearland Parkway Traffic Circle Phase 1 Closure:
Construction on the Pearland Parkway Traffic Circle will begin on 5/27, with the closure lasting 3-4 weeks.
This closure will impact traffic from Pearland Pkwy North to McHard Rd West & McHard Rd East to Pearland Pkwy North.
SH 35 is the suggested alternate route. Plan accordingly to avoid travel delays.

The Pearland Parkway Traffic Circle will begin Phase 1 of construction on 5/27, with the closure lasting 3-4 weeks.
This closure will impact traffic from Pearland Pkwy North to McHard Rd West & McHard Rd East to Pearland Pkwy North.

TX 35 is the suggested alternate route. Plan accordingly to avoid travel delays.

Parts of the Pearland Parkway traffic circle will be CLOSED for Phase 1 improvements for 3 - 4 weeks beginning May 27th.
Impacted Routes:
Pearland Parkway North to McHard Rd West
McHard Rd East to Pearland Parkway North
Unimpacted Routes:
Pearland Parkway South to McHard Rd West
McHard Rd East to Pearland Parkway South
Pearland Parkway North to the Beltway

City of Pearland post:
Here is an in depth look at the closures impacting the Pearland Parkway traffic circle. Phase 1 improvements will begin tomorrow 5/27 and last 3-4 weeks.
Improvements to the traffic circle will lead smoother travel as traffic using the circle will no longer impact bypass lanes.

Fyi - Today I noticed an electronic sign on Pearland Pkwy that said
"at 7pm. the closure would happen"

Phase 1 improvements of the Pearland Parkway Traffic Circle begin TODAY (5/27) at 7pm. These improvements will take place for 3 - 4 weeks.
Once complete, improvements will lead to smoother travel as bypass lanes will not be impacted by traffic using the circle as seen on the map in green.
Please plan accordingly to avoid travel delays. See our previous post for detailed alternate routes.
