Pearland Parkway Traffic Circle Re-Opening

The Pearland Parkway Traffic Circle construction will be finalized and completed on FRIDAY, AUGUST 12TH at 7PM (SEVEN).

On Friday, all lanes inbound to and outbound from the traffic circle will be open for travel to residents and visitors. Lane striping will be completed in time for the re-opening, and drivers are encouraged as always to exercise awareness throughout use of the traffic circle upon completion.

Well the part that is already open is so awkward...I don't see this going very smoothly...

I also didn't find it so convenient. I thought they were going to make a "T" with a light, so you stop at the light when red then turn or go straight as needed. Lots of land there to do this. Or am I wrong, is that what we now have ?

The new situation does not seem like an improvement to me but I'm willing to give it a try. I like the idea of a traffic circle. I would really hate to see another stop light on that road.
