Pearland Police Department Warns Against Dangerous Senior Assassin Game
From The Pearland Police Department:
It has come to our attention that a number of high school students are engaging in a game known as "Senior Assassin." While intended as a harmless game, this year's participants have increasingly turned to using Orbeez and toy guns firing plastic BB projectiles filled with water.
Regrettably, these actions have led to several incidents involving bystanders being struck in public areas, resulting in disorderly conduct and unsafe driving practices throughout the city. Such behavior poses significant risks and has the potential to escalate into criminal activities.
We strongly urge all students partaking in Senior Assassin to exercise caution and mindfulness of their surroundings. It is imperative to consider the safety of innocent bystanders who may inadvertently become involved in these activities.
Furthermore, we emphatically discourage the use of toy guns, particularly when shooting from or at moving vehicles on public roadways. This not only endangers the lives of participants and bystanders but also raises the risk of these toy guns being mistaken for real firearms.
