Pearland Police Arrest Report

I really hope he didn't post pictures of the girls faces as well. Posting what he did is horrible, but if they can be identified, this will follow them for the rest of their lives. Not sure how I feel about him being out on bail, it seems he should be treated as any other sexual offender, and prohibited from being anywhere around anyone under the age of 18, and that includes being close to a school, church, or anywhere children are gathered.

@susieq : I've seen plenty of Harris Co murderers (accused) with less bail, but what parent's posted this sort of funds on a second charge of the same nature. You're right though, the restrictions you listed should be in place. Not to mention, not allowed to go back to public school, anywhere.

@Blackbird : I thought the same thing about the bail. Do they pay the full amount, or only a percentage? I honestly do not have a clue. Nope, no public school again, ever.

@susieq : Bail bondsman require 10%, that's why Harris Co is so annoying. A $100,000 bond sounds great, until you realize the felon only needs to come up with $10,000 cash.

Channel 13 News, Friday, September 23, 2022 5:47PMPEARLAND, Texas (KTRK) -- Former Dawson High School student Ty Manning, who turned 18 on Thursday, is facing multiple charges of invasive recording, and now two unrelated charges of possession of child pornography, after police say he inappropriately photographed unknowing female students and posted some of those pictures on explicit websites.This investigation has taken place throughout much of this year, with Manning initially turning himself into Pearland Police in May. At that time, one female student he had photographed and posted online was identified and pressed invasive recording charges against Manning.Manning then refused to give his cell phone to police, who were forced to subpoena the device.Police searched it earlier this month and identified two other female students photographed unknowingly by Manning.Both students pressed additional invasive recording charges, bringing the overall total to three.Charging documents obtained from the Brazoria County District Attorney's Office state Manning would sometimes take photos under the desks of fellow students, or would other times take them as they were walking up the stairs.Additionally, since obtaining that search warrant, police say they found two images of young children on Manning's phone, which is why he faces those two charges of possession of child pornography.Pearland ISD says the now-18-year-old is no longer a student at the district, and added that he was punished at the beginning of the investigation, but wouldn't provide any further details due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.Manning, who turned himself into Pearland Police for the most recent charges Friday morning, has bonded out of jail.abc13.com/dawson-hig h-school-pearland-is d-photos-up-girls-sk irts-inappropri

I read this earlier, esp the part about the one student who wanted to charge him. This makes me think her face is in the photo. Just sick. His parents should have left his butt parked in jail until trial time.

This kid should not be out on bail. Hope they charge him as an adult.

@susieq : And what if those pictures were originally sent to him by 17 year old girls when he was 17 as well...???

@NGM1957 : What part of girls not knowing they were being photographed do you not understand? What does it say about him for posting them on a porn site? What do the pictures of small children say about him? If they were sent by the girls, they were just stupid. If you don't want the world to see something, don't send it. I don't think the girls had anything to do with him trying to put cameras in the rest rooms, or him following them up stairs, or taking pictures under tables and desks. Since he was in trouble for the same thing last year, he should have known better, even if someone else sent him the pictures.

@susieq : Under desks and stairs is just stupid (restrooms???) and I don't know about the minor porn...Where did you read that he did the same thing last year or got in trouble last year??? I think he got in trouble in May and they were waiting for him to turn 18 I guess to charge him...???
