Pearland Westside Library is moving

The Pearland Westside Library is moving and TODAY is the last day to pick up items at this location! The building will be closed beginning Saturday, February 5, 2022 for the move to the new location and will re-open in early April 2022.

Pearland Westside Library patrons need to pick up their held items by Friday, February 4th. Patrons who wish to pick up holds while the library is closed will need to temporarily select another location to retrieve their requested items.

Otheriwse, items will not be available for pickup until the branch reopens to the public in April.

@GrandmaLou : The new 39,000 square foot facility located at 11801 Shadow Creek Parkway being built by the City of Pearland will be the permanent location of the West Pearland Library and the new location for the Brazoria County Tax Office. The building features a 100-seat teaching theater, group study rooms, conference rooms, a digital maker room for video editing, and many other valuable community features. The new library is expected to open in March, so keep an eye out for grand opening information.
