@wondersunny78: My old boyfriend had one in the 80's. I never wanted one. They didn't sleep well if you ask me. I felt like I was on boat in the ocean.lol

My lovely mattress developed a leak on Xmas Day, 2 years ago. I caved and bought a standard mattress and I can tell you, my joints hurt! My hips, my shoulders, my waterbed was the best!

We owned a couple of water beds. Was recommended to my husband from his doctor after he broke his back. I didn't like it at first but I got used to and I enjoyed sleeping on it(them)

@wondersunny78: I absolutely loved mine. It was 90% motionless and the most comfortable bed to sleep in. The grandkids would take long naps if they napped on it.
