@Txtoast : a lot of gulls and pelicans will lose their lives. Not a very bright idea. Cat 3 or more will take the turbines out I'm sure, so it's a waste of money.

@Inb0913 : Birds perceive areas traveled by spinning blades as open space, unaware that blade tips are moving at up to 180 mph. Many are focused on prey. These factors make wind turbines "ecological death traps," wherever they are located.
