Scout Popcorn

My son is selling scout popcorn to start raising money for his Eagle project in 2.5 years. These projects can be expensive so he's starting to raise the money now. He wants to do something really nice. I bought popcorn in the past from scouts. They're Yummy!!! My favorite is caramel.

@Magnolia832 : He's in Troop 442. We have a sheet that he has been using to try to sell door to door, but it's hard with all the school work, scouts, and soccer. They have added new stuff besides popcorn which is nice.

@Soccer2018 : I'm all for the scouts. My son was in the boys scouts and I was a boy scout myself. I understand the need for fundraising but 30 dollars for a bag of popcorn is a little unreasonable. I am embarrassed to even ask people for donations at that price point. I think Girl Scout cookies and America's finest chocolates are a little more reasonable and I have never had an issue selling or buying multiples of either.

I know poor Boy scouts usually have the spaghetti dinner, I always buy tickets but we don't go, I usually tell them to pass them along to someone who would like it.

@MalluGuy : I get it, but Boy Scouts get over 70% back unlike the Girl Scouts. We don't make the prices - just try to sell it to raise money. We also hold car washes to make money. That's an adventure!!!
