Southdown Dog Park in Pearland Update from Pearland Parks and Recreation Pearland Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the Southdown Dog Park (2150 Countryplace Parkway) is getting a makeover! To help ensure better pet and owner safety, we are overhauling the dog park with all new fence posts, railing, and chain link fence throughout. Improved, more secure gates to allow smoother entry and exit to the dog park will also be installed for easier access!In order to accommodate these exciting new updates, the dog park will be closed from August 24th to September 7th while the project is completed. During this time residents are encouraged to use the Independence Dog Park located at 3449 Pearland Parkway in the meantime. They are excited to get this project completed for all our Pearland pet owners to enjoy!
