ðŸš¨TRAFFIC NOTICE Pearland Police Wed 10am.
The Pearland Police Department is currently investigating a major traffic accident involving a motorcycle, in the 3900 block of Dixie Farm Road. Northbound traffic is currently being diverted from Pearland Parkway to Long Oak Drive and a police investigation is currently underway. Northbound lanes will remain closed for the next couple of hours to conduct traffic reconstruction. Expect major delays in the area and utilize alternate routes if at all possible.

Update: ðŸš§ ROADWAY IS CLEAR AND TRAFFIC HAS RESUMED ITS NORMAL FLOW (1:05PM)

@Txtoast: I got caught up in that mess and was re-routed. I sure hope everyone is ok. There sure were a lot of emergency vehicles there! ðŸ™ðŸ»

I hope everyone is okay. A few years ago, not far from there, there was a dual fatality motorcycle accident.
A motorcycle joy-ride and high speeds turned into an unfortunate crash that could have been prevented.

@Acg7707 : Sorry you got into the rerouting going on.
Drivers at the scene said they saw life flight leave the scene about 30 mins after it happened.
And it was near CR-127, talking about what a dangerous intersection on Dixie Farm that is.
