Tomorrow is dessert day, and maybe scratch rolls. Depends how ambitious I feel. Brining the birds (little Cornish hens), drying of the bread for stuffing, And starting the 3 veg I have planned, squash and sweet potato bake, roasted Brussel sprouts, and something to do with asparagus.

Tomorrow I will bake cornbread and chop vegetables for dressing. I may make some rolls, I will mash potatoes and store them in the Crock Pot liner then heat Thursday. Sweet potatoes will be ready to go in the oven. I would really like to have just about everything done early. I hate being tired all day Thanksgiving. Our green vegetable will be the broccoli I cut from the garden.

The Brussel sprouts have crumbled bacon, so I made some today. Then I ate a slice or three every time I walked thru the kitchen. So I made another batch, hmm. Tomorrow, I'll try again.

@Knk : I don't think I need to do anything to the scale . Our thanksgiving is going to be very simple. We canceled dinner plans since one of my daughters got sick with COVID. She had very rough days . She is getting better and recuperating in our apartment behind my house.! I never thought this thing was real but it is. Everyone please take care and be safe

@Inb0913 : Simple is the best. Enjoy! I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. I hope she recovers soon. I will keep her and your family in my prayers. ðŸ™ Just remember everything is going to be alright. I'm so sorry she had some rough times but remember she will fight it and recover soon.

@Knk : I believe there's a new tradition of Mac & Cheese on the table this year. Baked in all it's 3 cheese gooeyness!
Could be a kid favorite!

@Txtoast : I believe you are right. Yummy. I love Mac and cheese. It's funny because I'm a Leo and it states Mac n cheese is my favorite side dish for Thanksgiving. It's so right. Is yours right?
