Intermittent fasting I have been fasting for the last few months and I lost around 40 lbs I fast from 6 pm central to 8 am central who's with me

My husband is doing this and things are going pretty well. I've heard some having negative side affects though.

@Ribby: I've done this for years because of a hiatal hernia. I don't drop any weight. I guess from having hypothyroidism and taking a heart med that can make you gain weight.😑

I normally eat dinner at 8 or 9, but I can't argue with success. All you do is not eat those night hours? I'm looking to lose, just be healthier, and my doctor suggested this.

I don't eat breakfast so I don't eat between 8pm and noon. I have never lost any weight though.

@Ribby : I have done IF and did lose weight, though your body will adjust
and weight loss ends at a point.
My eating window is 8 hours, much better for digestion and restful sleeping.
I believe fasting would be the next method for weight and fat loss.

Seems to work for me !! and my stomach seems to not growl much !
